It's not like I melted for you.

Tough on the outside, sweet underneath. Tsundere Smoke acts cold, but it pours warm. Not that it would ever admit it.

Scent notes

  • Top: dark, resinous dragon's blood. Deep red, a little smoky, a little sweet.
  • Heart: the resin softens and starts to glow, like embers instead of flame.
  • Dry-down: smooth, creamy sandalwood. Soft wood, a touch milky, warm to the end.

The blend: an even 50/50 split. The dragon's blood keeps the sandalwood from going too sweet. The sandalwood rounds off the resin's sharp edges. Neither one wins the argument.

Lit: the dragon's blood speaks first. It fills the room with a dark, sweet, resin-and-ember warmth.

As warm oil: it gets quieter and closer. The creamy sandalwood comes forward and sits soft on skin, with just a hint of resin left behind.

How to use

Burn for 15 to 30 minutes, until a pool of melted oil forms. Blow out the flame, wait a moment, then test the oil on your wrist. Pour it into your hands and massage it into skin.

Safety

Candle safety: Burn within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. Don't move the candle while it's lit or the oil is hot. Stop using it when about 1/2 inch of wax is left.

Skin safety: Always blow out the flame before pouring. Test the oil on your wrist first; if it feels too hot, wait a minute. External use only. Avoid eyes, face and broken skin. Test on a small area first. Fragrance may cause skin sensitivity. Contains shea butter, which comes from the shea nut; if you have a nut allergy, check with your doctor before using. Stop using it if irritation happens.
